John founded The Wright Group in 2010, one of the first Black-owned government relations firms in NYC and one of the only firms committed to representing nonprofit organizations. John’s dedication to the nonprofit sector evolved years before his company was formed. Our conversations about making a difference were a key influence in the founding and shaping of WebServes’ commitments to serve the underserved.

Our tools and methods were different, but many of our goals aligned. WebServes provided technology consulting and a robust web platform in service to The Wright Group’s missions for more than a decade. His influence endures and continues to remind us of the core values of our efforts.
